For example, if you have got 8 CGPA, then you can take out your percentage by doing this:

Percentage (%) = 8.0 × 9.5

Doing this gives you 76 %.

How To Find The Percentage For Class 12th

For Class 12, CBSE provides marks for each subject individually. To calculate the overall percentage, follow these steps:
Step 1: Add the marks of all main subjects (typically 5 subjects).
Step 2: Divide the total marks by the number of subjects.

Example:
Subject Marks (Out of 100)

  • English: 90
  • Physics: 80
  • Chemistry: 80
  • Maths: 90
  • Computer Science: 90
    Total: 430
    Percentage = 430 / 5 = 86%
