CBSE Board Exams 2026: Class 10 and 12 practical exams will begin from January 1, subject-wise marking scheme also announced- Details here

CBSE has released the detailed exam schedule for Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2026. Class 10 exams will be held from February 17 to March 9, while Class 12 exams will run from February 20 to April 4. The timetable includes major subjects like Maths, Science, English, Physics, Chemistry, and more.

CBSE Board Exams 2026: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the Class 10 and 12 practical exams for 2025. The practical exams, project work, and internal assessments for both classes will take place from January 1 to February 14.

CBSE has also released the marking scheme for all subjects of Classes 10 and 12. The scheme includes the distribution of marks for theory, practicals, project work, and internal assessment. According to the board, each subject will have a total of 100 marks, divided across these components. Candidates can view and download the paper-wise marks distribution PDF from the official website, cbse.gov.in. To access it, they need to visit the website and click on the link for the paper-wise marks distribution notification. Once opened, the PDF can be downloaded, saved, and printed for reference.

The CBSE Class 10 board exams for 2026 will be conducted in two phases from February 17 to July 15, while the Class 12 exams will be held from February 17 to April 9. Both Class 10 and 12 exams will take place in two shifts: 10:30 am to 1:30 pm and 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.
