CBSE Board Exams 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a warning against fake date sheets for board exams. CBSE Class 10, and 12 exams will be conducted from February 15, 2023, and the timetable is yet to be announced.

The board has said that fake date sheets of the exams are going viral on social media. A board official further said that the original date sheets will be released soon.

CBSE Board Exams 2023: Practical exam to begin on THIS date

The datesheet of classes 10, and 12 will also be available to the candidates on the official sites of CBSE — cbse.gov.in — — cbse.nic.in — when released. Admit card will be issued in due course. The board will conduct practical examinations from January 1, 2023, at various examination centres in the country and abroad.

As per past trends, the board may release the class 10, and 12 date sheets this month. The exam will be conducted only once. Keep checking the official website of CBSE from time to time for exam dates, datesheet, practical exams, admit cards, and other details.

New exam pattern

Union Minister of State for Education Annapurna Devi shared this information in a written reply to a question asked in the Lok Sabha during the Winter Session. In line with the new National Education Policy 2020, CBSE is introducing aptitude-based questions in class 10th and 12th board exams to improve the pattern of exams.

These questions include multiple formats like Objective Type, Constructive Response Type, Assertion, Reasoning and Case-Based Questions. The minister said that in the academic session 2022-23, about 40 per cent of questions in class 10th board exams and about 30 per cent of questions in class 12th are merit-based.
