CBSE Board Exam 2023: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will start the Class 10 and Class 12 board exams 2023 on February 15, 2023. According to many media reports, the board is expected to release the schedule by December 2022. Once the schedule is released, students can download the date sheet from the official website — cbse.gov.in — This year, CBSE will conduct the exams in a single shift.
After two years of gap, the board will hold the examination in the same exam pattern as the pre-pandemic years. Earlier due to Covid-19, the exams were cancelled in 2020, and students were promoted to the next step using alternative assessment criteria. After that in 2021, CBSE divided the entire section into two terms.
Sample Papers 2023
The board has already released the sample question papers for Class 10 and Class 12 of the academic year 2022-23. The sample papers were published on September 16. Students can download the same by visiting the official website — cbseacademic.nic.in —
After analyzing the sample papers, students will get an idea of exam patterns, types of questions, and others. Apart from this, the board has also released the marking scheme.
How to download sample papers for 2023?
- Visit the official website — cbseacademic.nic.in —
- Go to the “Sample Question Papers” sections, available on the home page
- Now, click on ‘SQP 2022- 2023’
- After this, Students have to click on the desired link (depending upon your class)
- The sample papers will be displayed on the screen
- Download and take a printout for future reference

Reduction in Class 10 Syllabus
