The Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIM Kozhikode) has announced the official notification for the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025, widely regarded as India’s premier MBA entrance exam. Aspiring candidates can visit the official website to access detailed information and prepare for this highly competitive examination.
When Will The Registration For CAT 2025 Start?
Registration for CAT 2025 will begin at 10 AM on August 1, 2025, and remain open until 5 PM on September 13, 2025.

CAT 2025 Exam Date?
The exam will be conducted on November 30, 2025 in three different sessions. Admit cards can be downloaded from November 5 to November 30, 2025.
Registration Fee
- For Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Person with Disabilities (PwD) candidates: ₹1,300
- For all other categories: ₹2,600
This fee is a one-time fee, even if you apply to multiple IIMs or other institutes. The fee is non-refundable.
Who Is Eligible To Apply?
CAT 2025 is available to graduates who meet the minimum academic criteria given on the official website of CAT. However, being eligible does not guarantee selection as each IIM has a different selection process.
Which Institutes Accept CAT Scores?
All 21 IIMs in the country will use CAT 2025 scores for their postgraduate and fellow/doctoral programmes. Apart from this, more than 100 non-IIM institutes also accept CAT scores. The full list is available on iimcat.ac.in.
Where Will The Exam Be Conducted?
The exam will be conducted in around 170 cities across India through computer-based mode. You can choose up to five cities of your choice at the time of registration, but the final exam centre facility will be decided based on availability.
When Will The Results Be Released?
CAT 2025 results are expected to be declared in the first week of January 2026. Selected candidates will be informed about the interview and further selection process by the respective IIMs.
