UGC NET phase 2 exam postponed: The University Grants Commission (UGC) has postponed the second phase of the National Eligibility Test. UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has announced that now the Phase-II examination will be conducted from September 20 to 30. Earlier it was to be held from August 12 to 14.

UGC President M Jagadesh Kumar tweeted, “National Testing Agency (NTA) has conducted UGC-NET December 2021 on 9th, 11th & 12th July, 2022 for 33 subjects in 310 examination centers located in 225 cities across the country. And conducted the first phase of the June 2022 (merged cycle) examination.”

He further said, “Phase II was earlier scheduled to be held on 12, 13 and 14 August 2022. However, now the final Phase II examination of UGC-NET December 2021 and June 2022 (Merged Cycles) has been scheduled to be conducted between 20 and 30 September 2022, involving 64 subjects.” 

Information regarding the new schedule of examination and admit card can be made available soon through the website of UGC NET, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.
