BPSC Teacher Recruitment 2023: Important news has come out for the candidates looking for government jobs. Applications have started for the recruitment of 1.71 lakh posts of teachers by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC). Applications for these posts have started from June 15 and the last date for application is July 12, 2023.

Exams for this recruitment will be held on 19, 20, 26 and 27 August. At the same time, the result can be released in December and the appointment is likely to be done by the end of the year.

- Primary Teacher: 79943 Posts
- Middle School Teacher: 32916 Posts
- High School Teacher: 57602 Posts
Ability
- For the post of Primary Teacher for Classes 1 to 5 – D.L.Ed with Inter and CTET or BTET Paper-1 pass.
- Class 9th & 10th, Secondary Teacher – Graduation, B.Ed and STET Paper-1 pass.
- Class 11th and 11th, Higher Secondary Teacher – Post Graduation, BEd and STET Paper-2 pass.
- Ed qualification is not mandatory for the computer science stream.

Age Range
- For unreserved category – 37 years
- EBC, BC Female, Unreserved Female – 40 Years.
- SC, ST – 42 years.
Pay scale
- Primary Teacher – 25000 per month and allowance
- Secondary teacher – 31000 per month and allowance
- Higher Secondary – 32000 per month and allowance
Application fee
- General Candidates – Rs. 750/-
- SC/ST – Rs 200/-
- All reserved/unreserved category female candidates – Rs 200/-
- Physically Handicapped Candidates (40% or more) – Rs.200/-
- For all other candidates – Rs. 750/-
Selection Process
Selection for this recruitment will be through a written test only. There will be no interview. If the marks of the candidates are equal in the written examination, then in case of equality in age and age first, the candidate whose name is alphabetically in Devanagari script will be given preference.
