New Delhi: Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) released the official notification to fill 1,70,461 Teacher posts in the state. As per the notification, the registration process for these posts will start from June 15 and end on July 12, 2023.
Eligible and interested candidates may apply online through the official site of BPSC at bpsc.bih.nic.in
The submission of online applications for these posts are starting from June 15 and will run till July 12. Exams for this recruitment will be held on 19, 20, 26 and 27 August.
At the same time, the result can be released in December and the appointment is likely to be done by the end of the year.
Primary Teacher: 79943 Posts
Middle School Teacher: 32916 Posts
High School Teacher: 57602 Posts
Ability
- For the post of Primary Teacher for Classes 1 to 5 – D.L.Ed with Intermediate and CTET or BTET Paper-1 Passed.
- Class 9th & 10th, Secondary Teacher – Graduation, B.Ed and STET Paper-1 Passed.
- Class 11th & 11th, Higher Secondary Teacher – Post Graduation, B.Ed and STET Paper-2 Passed.
- Ed qualification is not mandatory for computer science stream. There will be relaxation of 8 years in age.
- Teachers appointed prior to 2012 who have passed the proficiency test need not have passed BTET, CTET or STET. A maximum of three times can appear in the exam to become a teacher.

Pay Scale
Primary Teacher – 25000 per month and allowance
Secondary Teacher – 31000 per month and allowance
