The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) is expected to release the IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025 soon. Candidates who appeared in the preliminary examination of Probationary Officer / Management Trainee held on 17, 23 and 24 August 2025 are eagerly waiting for the declaration of the result.
IBPS PO Prelims Result 2025
According to reports, the IBPS PO Prelims Result may be declared in the last week of September 2025. After release, candidates will be able to check the scorecard by logging in to the official website ibps.in through their registration / roll number and date of birth or password.
Exam Highlights and Marking Pattern
The IBPS PO Prelims exam was conducted online, with a total of 100 marks and duration of 60 minutes. There were three sections, and it was mandatory to secure minimum cut-off marks in each. Negative marking was applicable, with 0.25 marks being deducted for every wrong answer. There was no penalty for unattempted questions.

Process after Prelims
Candidates who are successful in the prelims will appear for the IBPS PO Mains Exam 2025, which will be held on October 12, 2025. The Mains exam will consist of subjects like Reasoning & Computer Aptitude, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, English Language and Data Analysis & Interpretation.
Since there is only around 25 days gap between the prelims result and the Mains exam, candidates are advised to start preparing for the Mains right now instead of waiting for the result.
