Applications have been invited by CSBC for recruitment to 4,128 posts of Bihar Police Constable. The pay scale of Level 2 and Level 3 has been fixed for these posts. Interested candidates can apply online from October 6, 2025 to csbc.bihar.gov.in.
Details of posts:
1,603 posts of alcohol prohibition and 2,417 posts of Chamberlain (court), both level 3 (₹ 21,700 – ₹ 69,100) are in pay scale.
108 posts of Mobile Squad Constable, Level 2 are in pay scale.
Selection Process:
Selection will be done in total three stages:
Written exam:
Subject: Hindi, English, Mathematics, Social Science, Science, General Knowledge and Current Affairs
Total 100 questions, 1 marks on each question
OMR based exam, time period 2 hours
Examination level: equivalent of class 10
Physical Efficiency Test (PET):
Testing includes races, high jump and ball throw
It is mandatory to pass in all activities
Final merit list will be prepared on the basis of pet
Document verification:
Necessary documents: identity card, intermediate certificate and marksheet, driving license (for the post of mobile squad), caste certificate etc.
Last date for submission of documents: 5 November, 2025
Application process:
The candidate will have to register on the official website first.
In registration: Information like name, nationality, mobile number, email ID, Bihar residence proof, category, gender and date of birth will have to be filled.
Then the application form has to be completed by login and uploading photos and signatures.
Application fee:
The application fee for all candidates has been fixed at ₹ 100.
