Assam HSLC 2023: The Assam HSLC 2023 Examinations for English and General Science were cancelled by the Board of Secondary Education, SEBA after it was claimed that the exam papers had been leaked. Ranoj Pegu, the education minister for Assam, has mandated a CID investigation into the recent leaks of the SEBA 10th Exam paper in light of this occurrence.
The SEBA Chief Controller of Examination Jimli Kakoty Saikia and the SEBA Examination Controller Nayan Jyoti Sarma have already been called in for questioning by the Criminal Investigation Department, or CID.
The Assam HSLC General Science paper leak has resulted in the arrest of three persons by CID, according to the most recent news. According to local media sources, two instructors and one school bus driver had been detained and interrogated.

According to reports, Assam has not seen a paper leak since 2006. Ranoj Pegu, the state’s minister of education, told media reporters that SEBA has received some information about the Science test paper leak.
“Culprits will be booked. I had a discussion with the DGP and he assured a thorough probe,” said Pegu to the media present.
The Assam HSLC English Exam 2023 and the Assam HSLC General Science Test 2023 were set for March 3, 2023, and March 13, 2023, respectively. Nevertheless, SEBA decided to cancel the tests since both of these exams’ question papers had leaked.
General Science will now be administered by SEBA on March 30, 2023, while English will be administered to Class 10 students at JR Higher Secondary School, Ganirgram on March 28.
