Army Recruitment 2023: Indian Army has invited applications for NCC Special Entry 55 Course starting April 2024. Eligible candidates may apply online through Join Indian Army official site join Indianarmy.nic.in

This recruitment drive will fill 55 posts in the organization. The registration process started on July 5 and will end on August 3, 2023.

For NCC ‘C’ Certificate Holders: Candidates must possess a degree from a recognized University or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks taking into account the numbers of all the years. 

Final year students are also allowed to apply provided they have secured minimum 50% aggregate marks in first two/three years of three/four degree courses respectively.

For Wards of Battle Casualties of Indian Army Personnel: Candidates must have a degree from a recognized University or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks taking into account the numbers of all the years.

Age Range

Candidates age limit should be between 19 to 25 years as on 1st January 2023 (Born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2005).

Selection Process

For information, Integrated Headquarters of Ministry of Defense (Army) reserves the right to shortlist the applications without assigning any reason. Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Jalandhar (Punjab). 

Candidates will have to go through a two stage selection process. Those who will clear the Stage I will move to Stage II. Those who fail in Stage I will be turned back on the same day. Merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained by the candidate in SSB Interview.
