AFCAT 2023: Indian Air Force is beginning the AFCAT 2023 registration today, December 1, 2022. Interested candidates can apply for Air Force Common Admission Test 2023 at the official website — afcat.cdac.in — The last date to apply is December 30.
AFCAT 2023: Exam Date
The recruitment test for various posts in the flying branch and ground duty of the Indian Air Force will be held on January 24, 25 and 26. This recruitment in the Air Force comes out twice a year in “June and December”. At the same time, its recruitment exam is organized in February and August.
AFCAT 2023: Qualification
Flying Branch: 12th pass with 50% marks, Maths and Physics must be a subject in 12th and Graduation in any discipline with 60% marks or BE/B.Tech degree with 60% marks.
Ground Duty (Technical) Branch: 12th pass with 50% marks, Maths and Physics must be one of the subjects in 12th and four years degree/integrated post-graduation in Engineering.
Ground Duty (Non-Technical)
Weapon System Branch – 12th pass (must have 50% marks in Maths and Physics) and graduation in any discipline with 60% marks.
Administration & Logistics – 12th pass in any stream and graduation with 60% marks in any discipline.
Accounts Branch – 12th pass in any discipline. B.Com with 60% marks or BBA/BMS/BBS with specialization in Finance or CA/ CMA/ CS/ CFA or B.Sc with specialization in Finance.
Education – 12th pass in any discipline. Must have graduated in any discipline with 50% marks.
Metrology – 12th Pass and Post Graduate Degree (with 50% Marks) in Science Stream/ Maths/ Stats/ Geography/ Computer Application/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Metrology/ Agriculture Metrology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo Physics/ Environmental Biology.

Age Range
The age of the candidate applying for the Flying Branch posts should be between 20 to 24 years. Explain that the age of the candidate will be calculated from January 1, 2024, i.e. the applicant must have been born between January 02, 2000, to January 01, 2004.
Apart from this, the age of the candidate applying for the posts of Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) should be between 20 to 26 years. For these posts also, the age of the candidate will be counted from January 1, 2024. However, for these, the applicant must have been born between January 02, 1998, to January 01, 2004.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected for these various posts through the online AFCAT exam. However, candidates belonging to Ground Duty (Technical) Branch will also have to appear for Engineering Knowledge Test. Thereafter, the final merit list will be released based on performance in AFCAT and AFSB.
Application fee
Candidates applying for these posts will have to pay an application fee of Rs 250. However, NCC Special Entry candidates will not have to pay any application fee.
