IIM Sambalpur: IIM Sambalpur has created a record of achieving 100% placement. The institute has recently achieved 100% placement for its MBA batch (2021-2023) with the highest package of Rs. 64.61 lakhs per annum (Domestic) and Rs. 64.15 lakhs per annum (International). IIM Sambalpur, established in 2015 by the Government of India, has made a continuous effort to create future leaders with entrepreneurship.

IIM Sambalpur: 100% placement students

The institute imparts education in a better way through well-equipped digital and smart classrooms. As a result, the institute ended the placement session with a 147% hike in the highest salary. The average salary is Rs 16.64 lakhs per annum and the average salary for the MBA batch 2021-2023 is Rs 16 Lakhs per annum. However, the average salary for female students is Rs 18.25 lakh per annum. The average salary for the top 10 students of the batch is Rs 31.69 lakh per annum. Major recruiters include Microsoft, Vedanta, Tolaram, Amul, Adani, EY, Accenture, Cognizant, Deloitte and Amazon etc.

More than 130 recruiters participated in the recruitment process at the institute, in which 75 new recruiters made offers in various domains. The number of students in the MBA batch also increased from 156 last year to 167 this year.

The students were offered key responsible positions in the Finance, Human Resources and Operations domains. The positions offered are Management Consultant, Functional Consultant, Product Manager, Senior Analyst, Research & Advisory, Business Analyst, Team Lead, Senior Consultant, Senior Analyst, Product Management, Credit Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, Project Manager, Sr. RM, Key Includes Account Management, Inventory Planner.

This year’s placement season saw participation from over 130 recruiters, a 44 per cent increase among first-time recruiters, who aimed to find the best talent available on campus. Top Recruiters include Microsoft, Tolaram, Adani, Vedanta, Micron, Aditya Birla, Jindal Group, Amul, GMR Group, AM/NS India, Tresvista, Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant, ICICI, Bosch, Bluestone, Deloitte, EY, PwC, Gartner, Lowes, Fullerton, Kansai Nerolac, AkzoNobel, Crisil, Capgemini, Tata Power and many more.
