Greater Noida: Yamuna Authority is developing 24 villages into smart villages. People living in villages can now fulfil their dream of settling down like the people living in the sector.

In the first phase, the Authority acquired the land of farmers in 29 villages. Out of which 24 villages have been tendered to make them smart villages. The authority will spend more than 52 crores on the development of these villages. Out of these, work has been completed in two villages Nilauni and Rampur Bangar.

The tender process has been completed for the development of Mirzapur, Dugarpur, Rilkha, Achheja Burjug, Salarpur, Rustompur, Moojikheda, Chapardgarh, Muradgarhi and Gunpura villages. Apart from these, action is being initiated to carry out development work in Achepur, Pachokra, Chandpur, Usmanpur, Fatehpur Atta, Chakveerampur, Chak Jalalabad, Dhanori, Parsaul, Rabupura, Kadarpur and Bhatta villages in the coming year.
