Gurugram: A video of a woman in Gurugram is going viral on social media, where she can be seen arguing with police officials about refusing to pay her cab driver after travelling for 12 hours. The incident took place at the Huda City Centre.

The video clip began amidst a heated altercation, featuring a woman amid a dispute with a police officer who was handling the incident. In a raised voice, she was heard exclaiming, “Are you out of your mind?” as she vehemently maintained her version of events before the crowd of onlookers and law enforcement. The footage also captured the cab driver’s grievance, where he lodged a complaint stating that the accused woman had been occupying his cab since 10 pm the previous night.

During the video, the police were seen documenting the woman’s statement, during which she continually threatened both the officers and the driver, as well as anyone else present, with a defamation case.

The video was tweeted by a journalist, Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj. “Scenes from Huda City Centre Gurgaon. This woman Jyoti hired a cab for Irshad last night at 10 pm & made him roam till 11 am. Refused to pay 2000. The poor man had to call the Police. Look how she’s yelling even at cops. She has done this to other cab drivers too @gurgaonpolice.”

The journalist added while tagging the Gurgaon Police and said, “Apparently, she takes cab rides & then refuses to pay driver, threatening to then file Harassment or Molestation case. Another video where she did the same with someone else. Heights of misuse of laws by women who don’t spare even poor men.”

While applying to the audience she wrote, “If anyone wants to speak to this driver or help him please DM. I will share the number. I am going to help him myself as well through a small amount so that he knows everyone isn’t like her.”

A Shift Towards BJP's Aggressive Hindutva Amid Opposition's Leadership Crisis

The Maharashtra election may further push the Congress down as it has lost the election at a time when it needed a win most desperately. Though the Congress succeeded in pushing the BJP to a corner and stopping it at less than a majority on its own, it failed to make any headway further.
