Mumbai: A woman who had allegedly jumped off the terrace along with her daughter died. The mother-daughter duo could not survive the incident which took place in Mumbai’s Mira Road.

The police on Saturday informed they immediately rushed to the incident spot and sent the bodies for post mortem.

While taking action in the matter, the police has filed am Accidental Death Report (ADR). Meanwhile, an investigation has been launched.

The police identified the mother as Rekha Devi who was 28 years old while, her daughter Ankita was 6 years old. Rekha took her daughter to the roof and jumped off with her.

Rekha used to live with her husband and two children in the same building. No suicide not was recovered.
