New Delhi:  An interesting case has come to light from Kashmir. Here a woman named Shakila Begum who is wife of Muhammad Yusuf gave birth to a child inside an ambulance stuck in traffic jam.

The woman is a resident of Singaldan area. She delivered her baby with the help of the technicians of 108 ambulance service. The ambulance was stuck in traffic jam due to the closure of the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway 44.

Meanwhile civil QRT (Quick Response Team) members tried to reach the spot in the Mahar area. They were also accompanied by the hospital staff. The police aided them in reaching at the spot so that the medical assistance can be given to the woman.

The mother delivered her baby in the ambulance itself. However, she was taken to the district hospital with the help of volunteers and police. The mother and were child were kept under medical observation. Both of them are still recovering. The father thanked the police for timely assistance because of which his wife and children are still safe.
