New Delhi: A video has surfaced online raising questions over development in tribal areas where people are still living without basic amentities facing problems everyday.
One such case has been reported from Andhra Pradesh where a woman from Kondu tribe had to give birth to baby in a thick forest while the locals were taking her to the nearest hospital which was at least 60 kilometers away from the village.
In the clip, there are two men carrying the pregnant woman on a hand-made strecher which guarantees no comfort and protection.

This depicts a lack of access to medical facilities, proper road connectivity as well as raw and narrow lanes as the villagers travelled through the bushes.
