Uttar Pradesh: A video of Uttar Pradesh’s Mathura Railway station of a man is going viral on social media in which UP police can be seen harassing him for lying on a railway platform while waiting for his train.

In the video, two police officers can be seen harassing a man lying on the railway platform as he waits for his train in the video. One officer can be seen blinding the man with a torch while another kicks him. The video also shows the cops and the man exchanging words, but one of the cops can be seen stepping on the man’s feet.

After the video went viral SP GRP Agra’s official account on Twitter commented on the video where a police officer stated that “The said video is old, earlier these police personnel were identified. Both the police personnel have been identified and suspended with immediate effect only on 29/3/23. Departmental inquiry is practised by CO Railway Agra. Strict punitive action will be taken against them.”
