Amitabh Ojha, Patna: Claims of security by Patna police were blown to pieces by anti-social elements in the city. There was a violent clash between two groups at Marine Drive in Patna. During this, the glasses of many vehicles were broken. In fact, on the New Year eve, two groups were seen fighting fiercely in the capital city Patna.
Video of the fight going viral
On the late night of the January 1, while the whole country was celebrating the new year a fight took place between two groups of people. A video of this fight which occurred at JP Path in Patna is now going viral on social media.

One youth seriously injured
It is being told that the injured youth had reached JP Path by car in the New Year celebration with friends. There, they had a scuffle which gradually evolved. During this, the youths were attacked by the other side with rods and sticks. One of the youth from who took the beating was seriously injured. The miscreants beat up the young man and made him bleed. The youth was beaten till he fainted and fell on the road.

Police yet to get victim’s statement
Regarding the same viral video, Digha Police Officer Rajkumar Pandey has told that as soon as the information about the incident was received, the police reached the spot and got the injured youth admitted to a private hospital. After the same injured youth regains consciousness, his statement will be recorded. Following this a search will be lunched for the absconding youths. At present, no written complaint has been received in this regard so far.
