First-day plan

On the first day of the summit in Varanasi, a special agro-food system will be inaugurated under MACS (the Meeting of Chief Scientists of Agriculture) 2023. The first session of the meeting will focus on Food Security and Nutrition: The Role of Science, Technology, and Innovation. And the second session will be on “Flexible Agri-Food Systems.” In the evening, the G20 representatives will participate in the Ganga Aarti at Kashi.

On the second day, there will be a session titled “Digital Agriculture and Sustainable Agricultural Value Chains and Public-Private Partnerships in Agricultural R&D: Perspectives from Developed and Developing Countries.” After this, all the foreign guests will go to Sarnath in the evening.
