Varanasi: A sanitation worker in Uttar Pradesh was brutally beaten up allegedly by a police official for denying the cop’s wife to take away their garbage. The incident took place in Varanasi.

In a viral video posted on Twitter, the victim’s brother told the ordeal and showed the burises and marks on sanitation worker’s body of being assaulted. He told that the cops thrashed the victim and stood over him keeping their feet on his neck.

The victim also showed the marks of being thrashed by a weight (an instrument of weighing machine). He accused that the police had also kicked him in his genitals.

Following in the video, the brother’s voice crakced up while asking for justice and demanding an FIR agianst the accused. He alleged that the victim was even fined of Rs 151.

He said that the victim’s family was looking everywhere for him but he was nowhere to be found even after visiting police station. However, someone informed them that the victim was taken away by the police.

Follwing which, they reached upon the police station and found the victim all beaten up.

The victim’s family alleged that the man denied the wife of a cop to take away the garbage becasue the garbage fell on him. Following which, the angry police took him and assaulted.
