Uttar Pradesh: Late on Sunday night in the Azamgarh district of Uttar Pradesh, an unknown person threatened to blow up the Purushottam Express train with a bomb. After this, there was a stir in the railway administration and the district police. After about four hours of search operations, the train was allowed to go ahead.
According to the information, the Superintendent (SS) of Dagmagpur Railway Station in Azamgarh received a threat call. It was said on the phone that there would be a blast in the train near Jhingura railway station. According to officials, after getting the information, the team at ATS Varanasi gave clearance to the train after checking. After the information, the train stopped at Chunar railway station in Mirzapur for 4 hours.

Shrikant Prajapati, Additional Superintendent, said, “A bomb threat call was received by Station Superintendent (SS) about a bomb in Purushottam Express at Dagmagpur station. The bomb threat turned out to be a hoax. The ATS Varanasi team was called to Chunar station; the train got clearance after checking and departed from Chunar station. “The Purushottam Express was standing at Chunar station for more than 4 hours; the train was going from Puri to Delhi.”
The police officer said that the person who made the threat call was being searched. Soon, the accused will be caught.
