Noida: Uttar Pradesh’s Additional Chief Secretary for Basic Education, Deepak Kumar, said that it is mandatory for the child to be at least 6 years old to get admission in the first class. It will be followed by the entire private and government schools of Uttar Pradesh, including Gautam Buddha Nagar, Ghaziabad, and Meerut.
Children who have completed 6 years will now be admitted to class 1 in private schools run in all four blocks of Gautam Budh Nagar: Bisrakh, Dankaur, Dadri, and Jewar.
Issuing the order, the Additional Principal Secretary for Basic Education further said that for the children whose admission has been done so far in the current session, This order is not applicable to them. But this order is appropriate for the entrances that will take place from May 1 to July 31. In subsequent years, students studying in pre-primary school must be at least 6 years old. Only after that will admission be given to the school.
A decision has been taken under the National Education Policy 2020. The Basic Education Officer of Gautam Budh Nagar, Aishwarya Lakshmi, told the children who have been admitted in the current session Their age is between 5 and 6 years old. But this will not happen in the future. Will be allowed to study in first class only after completing 6 years.
