Uttar Pradesh: 100 new buses will be added to the Noida Depot of Roadways. The Transport Corporation itself will buy them, which will reduce the burden of maintenance on old buses and make travel more comfortable.

ARM NP Singh of Noida Depot said that the process of purchasing 1100 new buses of Euro 6 technology has started in the Transport Corporation, out of which 100 buses are going to Gautam Budh Nagar district. Noida and Greater Noida depots will get these buses. The Transport Corporation will send the new buses to the district after the completion of the procurement process. The survey is going on on which routes the new buses should run from Noida and Greater Noida depots.

These buses are about three feet longer than the old buses. The old buses used to have a seating arrangement of 52 passengers, but the Euro 6 buses will have a seating arrangement of 58 passengers. The new buses will be operated on long routes from the depot. The cost of each bus is around Rs 30 lakh. Officials say that the operation of these buses will reduce pollution and ensure the safety of the passengers.
