Barakanki (Uttar Pradesh): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday condoled the loss of lives in an horrific accident at Purvanchal Expressway today (July 25).
He took to the Twitter and said, “The loss of life in a road accident on Purvanchal Expressway is very sad. Instructions have been given to the concerned officials for speedy relief and rescue operations and proper treatment of the injured.”
“May Lord Shri Ram grant peace to the departed souls and speedy recovery to the injured,” he added.

As many as 8 people died while 16 others were injured in an accident at Purvanchal expressway on Monday morning. In the horrific accident a speeding double deck bus collided with a stationary one leaving many severely injured and also claiming several lives.
Anurag Vats, SP Barabanki, Uttar Pradesh spoked on the matter and informed that the ones who are injured were sent to the trauma centre for treatment while those who sustained minor injuries are being treated at CHC.
He further informed that the dead bodies recovered from the incident spot were sent for post mortem.
The official also mentioned that the bus was heading to Delhi from Bihar.
