New Delhi: A 21-year-old man has been charged under the strict National Security Act (NSA) allegedly setting fire to a portion of a hospital facility. The accused, on June 28, set fire in the Uttar Pradesh district of Sambhal, police said on Tuesday.
Raja Ansari, a resident of Nakhasa and the accused, was apprehended on July 3 and jailed, the news agency PTI quoted Superintendent of Police Chakresh Mishra.
The third floor of the hospital caught fire.

Later, the police checked the security cameras where it was found out that Ansari started the fire.
According to Mr. Mishra, District Magistrate Manish Bansal utilised the NSA against the accused on the advice of the police.
