Lucknow: Union minister Kaushal Kishore’s nephew, Nand Kishore, was found dead at his home in Uttar Pradesh’s Lucknow on Wednesday. It is alleged that he hanged himself and committed suicide.

Police sources said that Nand Kishore used to live in Bigariya locality in Dubagga area. “His body was found hanging from the ceiling when first spotted by his brother,” as reported by news agency UNI.

“He was taken to the hospital where doctors declared Nand Kishore dead,” they said.

The reason behind the alleged suicide is not clear. The police have launched a probe into the matter.

Kaushal Kishore is a Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP representing the Mohanlalganj constituency. He is currently serving as the Minister of State for Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.

Kishore was recently in news for his remarks about the Shraddha Walkar murder case, he had said that educated girls should not get into live-in relationships.
