Jaipur: A total number of 6 people were killed while more than 20 people got injured in a road accident in Pali district of Rajasthan. The incident took place Friday night.
As per a PTI report, an official from Sumerpur police station said a tractor-trailer that was carrying pilgrims collided with a truck.
The tractors full of pilgrims were travelling back to their home from Ramdevra in Jaisalmer. The group of people went to visit the temple of folk deity Baba Ramdev.
The official informed that the injured people were immediately rushed to the hospital nearby.

PM Condoles
Meanwhile, the office of Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted a post extending their condolences to the bereaved families.
“The accident in Pali, Rajasthan is saddening. In this hour of grief, my thoughts are with the bereaved families. I pray for a speedy recovery of those injured,” read the tweet.
