‘Toy Gun, Oil, Ghee AND …’: Do Not Carry THESE Inside Delhi Metro, Check the DMRC Banned List Before Travelling to Avoid Penalties

Passengers who bring illegal things onto the Delhi Metro are detained and not permitted to travel with them throughout the frisking and screening process. People have been forced to leave their goods numerous times due to security reason.

Delhi: Among all forms of transportation, the Delhi Metro is thought to be the safest. In addition to being protected by CISF officers, a person entering a metro station is also being watched by DMRC CCTV cameras. This makes it very safe for everyone to go on the Delhi Metro, day or night. But this security mechanism frequently causes problems, and some people think it’s too strict about some things. Recently, a video went viral showing a father and child being denied access to the Delhi Metro while carrying a toy gun.

The DMRC never compromises passenger safety, regardless of the differing views on this matter. The Central Industrial Security Force, or CISF, is responsible for maintaining stringent security and enforcing rules on the metro’s property, according to information on the security measures provided by the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC). In addition to thoroughly scrutinizing passengers on trains, CISF officials also look through their luggage.
