Greater Noida: In an attempt to beautify Greater Noida, the administrative authority has launched a campaign for pruning trees. CEO Ritu Maheshwari flags off three machines for pruning trees on Thursday. Very soon, two more machines will join this fleet.

In the CEO’s review meeting, it was revealed that there are no trimming machines. The work is being done with the machines of the Electrical Engineering Department. The CEO gave his consent to the purchase of 10 trimming machines for the horticulture department. Ritu Maheshwari, CEO of the Greater Noida Authority, and ACEO Anand Vardhan flagged off these three machines on Thursday.

At the same time, on the instructions of the CEO, the Greater Noida Authority started a campaign for pruning trees on June 1. The Horticulture Department has released the schedule until June 15. On the first day, pruning of trees was done at NH-24 Link Road, Techzone IV, Delta One, and Swarnanagari, while on June 2, pruning of trees will be done at NH-24 Link Road, Techzone IV, Jew II, and Swarnanagari.
