Hyderabad: Liquor prices get lowered in Telangana’s parts, including Hyderabad, starting Saturday following the state government’s approval of the Telangana State Beverages Corporation Limited proposal.
The TSBCL recommended lowering the existing Special Excise Cess (SEC) rates on Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) and Foreign Liquor (other than beer). From Friday, the revised SEC rates will apply to goods despatched from bottling operations. However, the spirits supplies held by the IMFL depots as of Friday, including waiting trucks before the IMFL depots and stock in transit, will be sold at the old rates.
the official order stated, “Stocks held at Finished Good Stores (FGS) shall be dispatched to the depots after affixing a sticker with the revised MRP (inclusive of all taxes) as required under The Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) Rules 2011, The sticker shall not cover the MRP declaration made by the manufacturer on the label

List of liquor prices in State
The price of 90 ml and 180 ml spirits bottles will be decreased by Rs 10.
Rs.20 will be focussed on 375 ml bottles and Rs.40 on 750 ml bottles.
The state’s registered liquor retailers have been directed to dispatch goods at the revised rates beginning Friday.
