New Delhi: Bihar’s negligent health system was exposed on Monday night. Here a man wandered on the streets seeking a hospital when an ambulance was not available. He was not not just roaming alone but also carried her ailing mother on his back. It is being told that the health of the patient was severely deteriorating and she was referred to another hospital. The patient’s kin were unsuccessful in finding an ambulance.

Matter is from Hajipur
The matter has emerged from Sadar Hospital in Hajipur, Bihar. The son reached here with her ailing mother. The doctors involved in the treatment investigated and said that for better treatment, the patient have to be admitted to Patna PMCH. Saying this, the doctors of the hospital referred the female patient.
Hospital staff couldn’t arrange for ambulance
The son of the patient asked the hospital staff to arrange an ambulance to transfer her mother to PMCH in Patna. However, no ambulance was made available to them. The helpless son had to carry his mother on his shoulder. He started marching on foot towards Patna. He was also accompanied by his family members, some of them even having children in their laps.
When the matter came to light, the hospital staff was struck with realization. They have said that they will investigate the matter. However, he kept on roaming on the road while carrying her mother. Some of the eyewitnesses said that they saw them roaming on the roads in order to find a vehicle, so that he could take her mother to PMCH. At present, the whereabouts of the patient is not known.
