Bhopal: After a video of a purported Bharatiya Janata party leader allegedly urinating over a tribal man went viral, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan took cognisance of the matter and directed officials to book the accused under National Security Act (NSA).
According to media reports, the accused is recognised as Pravesh Shukla who allegedly urinated over a tribal youth sitting on the roadside. The act has been recorded on camera and is being surfaced on Social Media now.
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Sing Chouhan took cognisance of the matter and directed officials to ensure strict action against the accused. The CM even asked officials to implement the National Security Act (NSA).
“A viral video of Sidhi district has come to my notice… I have instructed the administration to arrest the culprit and take strict action and also impose NSA,” MP CM tweeted.
According to media sources, the video is from Sidhi district and the accused is a Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) leader. Some reports also said that Pravesh was representative of Kedarnath Shukla, a sitting MLA.
