Karnataka police have filed an FIR and begun an investigation into the tragedy. According to media reports, the driver may have dozed during the drive, which resulted in the early morning disaster.

The airport authorities have begun a shuttle bus service between T1 and T2, which is less than a kilometre away. Terminal 2 has been operational since most domestic airlines began operating from the airport’s brand-new terminal in Bengaluru. International operations will be transferred to the new terminal 2 on September 1, while local airlines will continue to use the old terminal.
