Shraddha Walkar murder : A Delhi court on Tuesday took cognisance of the charge sheet against Aaftab Amin Poonawala. The charge sheet was filed by Delhi Police against Aaftab who is accused of killing her live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and then chopping shraddha’s body into several pieces.

In the charge sheet Delhi Police framed charges against  Aaftab Amin Poonawala who purportedly murdered his live-in partner Shraddha Walkar and then chopped her body into several tiny pieces.

Charge sheet was filed on January 24

The Delhi police unit investigating the matter had filed the charge sheet of 6,000 pages. After taking cognizance of the charge sheet, The Delhi court had extended Poonawala's police custody for 14 more days. According to information The court has posted the matter for scrutiny on February 21.

Charge sheet was prepared after thorough investigation

According to police sources , the charge sheet has been prepared after forensic and electronic evidence. Police have also investigated inputs of around 100 witnesses. Poonawala is accused of killing shraddha Walkar. According to police he  chopped her body into several small pieces and stored the body part in a refrigerator,  then after, he threw it in Chhatarpur forest area for a period of three months.
