A shocking news broke in Uttar Pradesh’s Sambhal district on Thursday. A Maulana allegedly raped a 6-year-old girl in a mosque. The accused Maulana has been apprehended by police.

CO Sambhal, Jitendra Kumar, said, “A woman stated in the complaint that her daughter was raped by a person. Following an investigation, the accused was apprehended. An FIR has been filed in the case. The victim’s statement was recorded and sent for medical evaluation. Whatever action is required in this matter will be taken.”

A woman claimed in the Sambhal police station area that her 6-year-old daughter was raped on Tuesday by a young man named Owais, who taught religious education in a room near the mosque. According to the woman’s complaint, the accused Owais is a mosque cleric.

According to the woman, the innocent informed her that the Imam had done dirty work. The family members then complained to the Imam, who threatened to kill the entire family.

Following that, the family of the innocent went to the police station and filed a complaint, citing the accused Imam Owais of the ill deed.

On the basis of the woman’s complaint, a case was filed against the accused Owais, and he was arrested.

The girl has been taken to the hospital for a medical examination.

People in the area are in a state of panic as a result of this news.

The police have opened an investigation based on the complaint. The police have opened an investigation under Section 376 of the IPC and the Protection of Children from Sexual Offenses Act.

The situation is being thoroughly investigated. Following an investigation, the police will take appropriate action, according to the police.
