Jajpur, Odisha: In a shocking incident, a man killed a tantrik in Odisha’s Jajpur district on Friday after he failed to make his angry wife return as promised. According to police, Shantanu Behera and his wife had been fighting for a long time, so she went to her parents’ house with her children.

According to a police officer, Shantanu sought the assistance of a tantrik to bring back his wife. The accused told the tantrik that his wife had gone to her maternal home with children for several months and that she needed to be returned. For this, the tantrik promised assist the accused.

Promised to make wife return for Rs 5000

Shantanu Behera resides in the Bandhgaon police station area of Jajpur district. He paid the tantrik 5000 rupees to return his wife to him. When Behera arrived at the tantrik’s house on Friday afternoon, he got into a fight. Actually, Behera told him that if you couldn’t finish my work, he should return my money. Following this, there was much debate between the two.

Murdered with sharp weapon

Behera became enraged and attacked the tantric Babar with a sharp weapon, killing him on the spot. Behera later surrendered to police, carrying the weapon used in the weapon. According to Sukinda police station Inspector Kabuli Charan Barik, the deceased was a nomad originally from Maharashtra who lived in a rented house with his wife.
