This chilling incident comes after he was forcibly taken from his home on Friday night by unidentified assailants.

The news takes a grim twist as the proscribed Revolutionary People’s Front (RPF) has come forward to claim responsibility for this appalling act. According to a statement released by the insurgent group, they have carried out what they deem “capital punishment” on Sanjoy. This decision, as mentioned in the statement, stems from an alleged incident on September 12 of the previous year when Sanjoy allegedly committed a rape at gunpoint.
