New Delhi: There are many such incidents around us which make our heart shudder. Our soul trembles when we see or hear about them. A similar case came to light from Kanpur in Uttar Pradesh, where a woman lived in the same house with her husband for 17 months after the death of her husband.
Recently, when the police went to his house and investigated, it came to know that the body of this person has turned black like coal and the family members are still not ready to accept him dead.
What happened?
This incident is of an unnamed street of Roshanpura in Kanpur. 30-year-old Mithali lived here with her in-laws. She works in a government bank. Mithali was married in 2016 to a man from Kanpur who used to work in Delhi. The two also have a daughter and son.
But in April 2021, this person died due to deteriorating health. But even after his death, the family members started considering him alive and for 17 months he stayed at home with the dead body.
Mithali told the truth
Mithali told police that her husband’s condition was bad. The doctor made a death certificate. However, an oximeter was installed at their home. His pulse was seen moving. There was an uproar in the whole house that he was alive. He was put on a bed and the whole house started believing him to be alive.
Mithali said, “I knew that he was dead, but due to family members, I was also forced to believe that he is alive. Every day I had to apply vermilion in the name of my husband and also keep the fast of Karva Chauth. I didn’t even tell my colleagues in the bank that my husband’s body was lying in my house. The family members used to do some tricks so that the corpse did not smell.”
Police unveiled the matter
On the complaint of the neighborhood, when the police came to his house at the end of September and investigated, he saw that the body of the deceased was completely black, the body was completely burnt, the eyes were completely closed. In such a situation, he took the body in his custody and cremated it. But the family members are still not ready to believe that their son is dead. However, Mithali now understands that her husband is not in this world.
