New Delhi: Four members of a family were stabbed to death in the national capital’s Palam area on Wednesday, according to Delhi Police. The accused in the case has been caught, police said.

Four members of a family were stabbed to death in their Palam home while they were sleeping. Two sisters, their father, and their grandmother are among the dead, police said. Though the motive for the murder has yet to be ascertained, the main suspect has been detained.

Keshav, a 25-year-old drug user, has been identified as the accused. According to preliminary investigation, Keshav had recently returned from a rehabilitation centre. He was apparently enraged after being chastised for his drug addiction, and he murdered his parents, sister, and grandmother in a fit of rage, police added.
The deceased have been identified as Dinesh Kumar (42), his wife Darshan Saini (40), mother Deewano Devi (75) and daughter Urvashi (22).
