New Delhi: A case of gang rape has come to light from the Chaibasa area in Jharkhand. The incident happened on October 20, 2022. Police has registered an FIR against 10 accused. An SIT has also been formed to investigate the matter further. police personnel have also been actively conducting raids in order to make arrests in the case.
8-10 people assaulted the duo
The victim in the matter has alleged that she was out with one of her friend on October 20. The duo were roaming and sitting on the side of the road. Meanwhile, 8-10 people came to them and started assaulting them. They then abducted the girl and took them to a secluded place. After that the people carried out the heinous act of gangrape.
According to the report, the incident took place at 6 pm on Thursday. The victim is a resident of a village under Jhinkpani police station. The 26-year-old victim had gone to visit Tekrahatu airstrip with her brother’s friend. Meanwhile, the accused stopped both of them. After this, they beat up the friend of the victim and then carried out the gang-rape incident.
The victim stated that on the evening of Oct 20, she had gone out with her friend. They were having a conversation on the roadside. Meanwhile, 8-10 people came to them. They first beat up the two, forcefully took the victim woman to a secluded place and raped her: Chaibasa Police

Treatment of the victim continues in Chaibasa hospital
According to the information, the victim has been admitted to a hospital in Chaibasa. According to doctors, the condition of the victim is critical. On the other hand, after the information, the police has started action. It is being told that some boys have been detained on the basis of suspicion.
