New Delhi: A shocking case has emerged from Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. Here a female police station in-charge was being threatened for making her edited video viral on social media. She was asked to pay five thousand rupees for making her video viral on social media.
When she denied for making the asked payment, the accused actually posted her video on the social media and made it viral. On Friday, a case was registered against the accused at the Civil lines police station and he was arrested.
Here’s what happened
The police station in-charge Deepa Tyagi has filed a case against Parvez Ansari and his accomplices under sections 384, 506 of IPC and IT Act 67 at Civil Lines police station. In the complaint she told that on October 20, she was going from the CCNS room to her cabin. During this, Parvez and his accomplice had made the video.
Police officer asked to pay Rs 5000
After this Parvez Ansari threatened to make the video viral and demanded five thousand rupees. On October 27, Parvez Ansari and his accomplice again reached the women’s police station and again demanded money from Deepa Tyagi. When the station in-charge refused to pay the money, he edited the video and added film songs and dialogues to it. They then posted it on YouTube and Twitter.
Accused has been arrested
SP Nagar Akhilesh Bhadauria said that the accused Parvez Ansari, a resident of Mohalla Dehria has been arrested. He has confessed in police interrogation that he recorded the video. After this, he edited the video with his partner and made it viral on social media.
On Friday evening, the police produced the accused in the court, from where he has been sent to jail. Police station in-charge Gajendra Singh said that information is being obtained regarding Parvez’s partner.
