Noida: Due to Hanuman Jayanti on April 6 and Mahavir Jayanti on April 4, Section 144 of the CrPC has been imposed by the Gautam Buddh Nagar administration in the district, which includes Noida and Greater Noida. The section will remain in force from April 1 to April 30, 2023.
Mahavir Jayanti is on April 4, Maharishi Kashyap and Maharaj Nishad Raj Guhay Jayanti is on April 5, Good is on April 7, Ambedkar Jayanti is on April 14, Chandrashekhar Jayanti is on April 17, Alvida is on April 21, Eid-ul-Fitr is on April 22, and Parshuram Jayanti is on April 22.

The administration has prohibited gatherings of five or more people in the district under Section 144. The Police Commissionerate, Noida, has issued an order in this regard. According to the official order, anyone who attempts to violate the rules in the district will face harsh punishment under Section 188 of the IPC.

A group of five or more cannot stand together. There can be no procession. No photography or drone flights are permitted in the district near any government office or residence. Consuming alcohol or drugs in public places is also a violation of the rules. There is no louder sound and the DJ can play in any religious place or club. It is not permitted to worship or pray in public places. Those who do so will face consequences. A gun or a knife cannot be carried in public. It is prohibited to fire in public places or anywhere.
