New Delhi: With the decrease in monsoon activities in the state for the last 48 hours, once again the heat and humidity have started troubling the people. In the last 48 hours, where the day and night temperatures have increased by about 2 to 4 degrees, while in the last 24 hours, an increase of about 2 degrees has been registered. According to the Meteorological Department, the rainy season will stop in the state for the next two to three days. However, there is a possibility of rain in the state again next week.
According to the Meteorological Department, due to the shifting of the Monsoon trough to the north, the rains stopped in the southeast districts. However, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning over Alwar, Bharatpur, Kota, Baran, districts and nearby places on Saturday. There is also a possibility of continuous rain at isolated places in Baran district.
Most rain in Jhalwad
The highest rainfall in the state in the last 24 hours was 89 mm in Khanpur of Jhalwar. 35 in Pidawa, 72 in Bharatpur’s Helna, 70 in Hingota, Baran’s 53, Mangrol 38, Bhilwara’s Kotri 26, Bundi 27, Sri Gangapur’s Karanpur 59, Hindumalkot 53, Sri Ganganagar 47, Hanumangarh Nohar 57, Kota’s Chechat received 57 mm of rain.
Jodhpur residents heaved a sigh of relief
Four days of continuous rain in Jodhpur has created a ruckus. The people of Jodhpur have breathed a sigh of relief when the rainy season has stopped. However, the rain has wreaked havoc. More than 30 colonies have been flooded due to rain. The situation in New Rupnagar has become so bad that the army was called there to help. Army has extracted water from Rupnagar Colony. Due to which the water level has come down a bit. At the same time, 600 people are still trapped in the water in Derby Colony.
