The Dalit family has alleged that members of the Lodha community, who have a powerful influence in the village, have been pressuring people to stop trading with them.

Performing Pooja Was The Crime

A few days back, a Dalit family had arranged a Keertan programme in a Hindu temple in the village, which was objected to by several members of the Lodha community.

After learning about the programme, the Lodha community members had reached the temple, interrupting pooja, asking the Dalit family to end it. However, the function was completed successfully.

Angered by this, the Lodha community members started to make survival hard for the family.
