Rajasthan: A case of molestation of a foreign tourist woman has come to light in Jaipur, Rajasthan. Delhi Commission for Women (DCW) chief Swati Maliwal shared the video on Twitter, demanding action against the accused. He sent the video to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and the Rajasthan Police and demanded immediate attention to the matter.
Police started the investigation after the video went viral, although the incident location is unknown. Sindhi Camp police station has been given the instruction to investigate by the city’s municipal police control room.

As per the viral video, the accused can be seen repeatedly touching the female tourist. During this, the foreign woman looks very uncomfortable. The woman was accompanied by a male companion who found the behaviour of the accused a bit strange. The Delhi Commission for Women chief wrote on Twitter, “Just saw this video where a man can be seen inappropriately touching a foreign tourist. This is so embarrassing. Tagging Ashok Gehlot and Rajasthan Police for action These incidents are spoiling the name of the country.”

This is not the first time that there has been news of harassment of foreign tourists in the country. Earlier, a Korean blogger was followed by a man in Jodhpur. The Korean blogger was recording a video during the incident. In the video shared by the woman, the accused could be seen following her and pouncing on her. After the matter came to light, the Rajasthan Police arrested the accused.
