Pune: The police informed that a body of 7-year-old boy was found in a deserted building in Bhosari MIDC area on Saturday. The boy went missing from a housing society in Pimpri Chinchwad in the Pune district on Thursday.

Police have identified the accused ones as — Manthan Bhosale (20) and Aniket Samadar (21). They were arrested for alleged murder of Aditya Ogle, the news agency PTI reported.

The accused Bhosale lives in the same building where the victim used to live. The crime was committed as Bhosale held a grudge against the child’s father.

In order to divert the case, Bhosale used a labourer’s phone to demand a ransom of Rs 20 Crore on Friday.

The police said that it had formed 10 teams to find the boy. They also tracked the number from which the call for ransom was made.

The Pimpri police station official said the was strangled to death in a moving car as he was shouting. After which, the body was dumped in building.

Bhosale and Samadar were charged with murder, kidnapping and other offences.
