New Delhi: The dead body found in a red suitcase on the banks of the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura district of Uttar Pradesh was that of Ayushi (25), a resident of Delhi. Ayushi’s mother and brother have been called to the Mathura post-mortem house and identified. After investigation, it is learned that the father killed the daughter and threw the body on the side of the expressway. The father has already been taken into custody.

Body was found in a suitcase on November 18
According to news agency ANI, Mathura SP City Martand P Singh said that the body of the girl found on the banks of the Yamuna Expressway in Mathura on November 18 has been identified. The girl’s family lives in Delhi’s Badarpur area. She had left her home in Delhi on 17 November. the matter is being investigated.

Police collects CCTV footage
According to media reports, the girl’s body was found in a red colored briefcase on the banks of the Yamuna Expressway near the Agricultural Research Center at Raya in Mathura. The police had collected all the CCTVs installed on the Yamuna Expressway from Mathura to Gurugram to identify the dead body. Apart from this, the help of mobile surveillance was also taken. About 20 thousand mobile numbers were traced.
Mother, brother of victim reached Mathura
After a thorough investigation, the police found out that the dead body belonged to Aayushi Yadav, daughter of Nitesh Yadav, resident of street number-65, village Modband, police station Badarpur (Delhi). The police immediately contacted the family members. On getting the information, Ayushi’s mother and brother reached Mathura. They identified the dead body. There were marks of injuries on Ayushi’s face and body. Along with this, she was shot in the chest. According to police sources, Ayushi was murdered by her father Nitesh Yadav.
